Privacy Policy

AI.UniScan ("we", "our", or "us") provides scan, Ask, note, and organization features for everyday life-admin workflows. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use AI.UniScan and why.

1. Information we may process

  • Photos or image files you capture or upload for scan analysis.
  • Voice audio you intentionally submit for speech-to-text features.
  • Text that you type into Ask, notes, comments, or feedback fields.
  • Account information such as display name, email, or third-party login source when you sign in.
  • Usage context such as app language, location label, approximate usage timestamps, and feature activity.
  • Device and network metadata such as IP address, browser or app version, and logs needed for service operations, reliability, and abuse prevention.

2. Why we process information

  • To analyze scans and generate structured results.
  • To answer user questions through Ask and related assistant features.
  • To save notes, records, and usage history connected to product features.
  • To maintain account access, synchronization, membership features, and subscription status.
  • To improve reliability, detect abuse, enforce limits, and protect service security.

3. Third-party processors

To provide AI, speech, login, infrastructure, payment, subscription validation, and storage capabilities, relevant information may be transmitted to trusted service providers acting on our behalf. We do not sell personal information.

4. Data retention

  • Some local history may remain on your device according to app behavior.
  • Signed-in records may be stored on backend systems to support account-based features and cross-device access.
  • Operational logs, service events, and usage records may be retained for reasonable business, security, audit, and compliance needs.
  • Generated Ask answers are not required to be retained for long-term audit purposes when question-only retention is sufficient.

5. Your choices

  • You may decline camera, microphone, or location permissions, though some features may not work fully.
  • You may clear some local records through app controls where available.
  • You may contact us regarding deletion requests or privacy questions.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce risk and limit unnecessary access.

7. Children

If local law requires it, minors should use AI.UniScan with parent or guardian permission and supervision.
